A local Hero

We had our local hero, Jeremy, come and talk to us about his voluntary work as an ambulance officer.
Jeremy gives up his own time to work an eight hour shift at night!!!
He loves his job because he enjoys helping people.

Jeremy shows these virtues

Compassion    Hope    Respect

Generosity
The ambulance service could not operate without the
generous help of people like Jeremy.

A local hero

We had our local vet, Nina, come in and speak to us about her job.
We discovered that to do her job she shows all of these wonderful virtues.

Compassion,     Perseverance,   Respect,      Generosity.

Making unleavened bread.

We made unleavened bread as part of our RE lesson.
This is because we are learning about the Eucharist and the importance of bread in our lives.
We discovered that unleavened bread was the bread that Jesus and his disciples would have eaten at The Last Supper.
We remember the words that Jesus said at The Last Supper

"Take this, this is my body which has been given up for you."
